From West Glacier Park train station I took the train to Chicago and spent one night near Lake Michigan. Since my train didn’t depart until 5:45 pm, I had a whole day to explore on foot and cycle the Lake Shore Trail along Lake Michigan. The weather was wonderful, not windy but sunny and warm.
